    Day 2. Saturday:
Breakfast at the hotel. Moscow city-tour. Moscow is the capital of the Russian Federation and represents a unique complex of old architecture masterpieces and modern high-tech buildings. This is a place where traditions of the Russian people become acquainted with guests from all over the world. The historical centre of Moscow, the Kremlin and its cathedrals, monasteries, impressive fortresses and amazing palaces demonstrates the authentic culture and art of the late Middle Ages in Russia. Moscow is one of the rare examples of a good extant atmosphere of old city preserving its beauty in perpetuity, whatever events unfold over time. If you want to know more about Moscow’s history, you need to visit our city sightseeing tour. During the tour, you’ll see Red Square, Manezh Square, Boulevard Ring, Tverskaya Street, Ambassadorial Campus, Minskaya Street, Victory Park, Triumphal Arch, the superb, newly-built high-tech pedestrian Bagration Bridge, the White House, New Arbat Street, Arbat Square, Zamoskvorechye, St. Sofya Embankment, Christ the Saviour Cathedral, the monument dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Russian Navy, St. Nikolas Church, Leo Tolstoy Street, Pirogovskaya Street, New MaiDay Convent, the observation platform of Sparrow Hills. Visit of Kremlin and Cathedrals on the Red Square - unique complex of architectural monuments surrounded by ancient red brick walls crowned with 19 towers. Visit one of the most prominent sights of Moscow - the Kremlin with its 19 towers and red brick walls. It was rebuilt several times after being constructed and fortified Moscow with wooden walls and a moat under the order of Prince Yuri Dolgoruky in 1156. Today’s Kremlin was built in the 15th century by Italian Architects after the seat of the Orthodox church moved to Moscow. The reconstruction of cathedrals and chapels of that time shaped the modern appearance of the Kremlin. The Cathedral Square is the centre of the Kremlin with the Cathedrals of Assumption, Annunciation and Archangel Mikhail as its main sights open for visitor. The ensemble of the Kremlin represents some of the best examples of Russian church and secular architecture of 15th-16th centuries like the Palace of Facets, the Church of the Deposition of the Robe, the Bell tower of Ivan the Great and the Spasskaya Tower, the Armory Chamber and the Diamond Fund and the Patriarch’s Palace. The Moscow Kremlin is also famous for the curious couple of the Tsar Bell and the Tsar Cannon designed for amusement of Russian Tsars. Time for lunch. Moscow metro excursion. The first plans for a metro system in Moscow date back to the Russian Empire but were postponed by World War I, the October Revolution and the Russian Civil War. In 1923, the Moscow City Council formed the Underground Railway Design Office at the Moscow Board of Urban Railways. It carried out preliminary studies, and by 1928 had developed a project for the first route from Sokolniki to the city centre. At the same time, an offer was made to German company Siemens Bauunion to submit its own project for the same route. In June 1931, the decision to begin construction of the Moscow Metro was made by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. In January 1932 the plan for the first lines was approved, and on March 21, 1933 the Soviet government approved a plan for 10 lines with a total route length of 80 km. The first lines were built using the Moscow general plan designed by Lazar Kaganovich in the 1930s, and the Metro was named after him until 1955 named after him (Metropolitan im. L.M. Kaganovicha). The Moscow Metro construction engineers consulted with their counterparts from the London Underground, the world's oldest metro system. Partly because of this connection, the design of Gants Hill tube station (although not completed until much later) is reminiscent of a Moscow Metro Station. Time for dinner. Guide and bus services 10:00 – 17:00. Overnight at the hotel.
    Day 3. Sunday:
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of the Tretyakov Gallery. The State Tretyakov Gallery is the national treasury of Russian fine art and one of the greatest museums in the world. The oldest district of Moscow – Zamoskvorechye is located not far from the Kremlin. The Gallery's collection consists entirely of Russian art and artists who have made а contribution to the history of Russian art or been closely connected with it. The collection contains more than 150 000 works of painting, sculpture and graphics, created throughout the centuries by successive generations of Russian artists. Russian art works, ranging in date from the 11th to the early 20th century, are on the show in Gallery's historic building on Lavrushinskiy Pereulok. Visit of Peter-and-Paul Fortress. The Peter and Paul fortress is the home for several museums today, which demonstrates to everyone the splendid history of Saint-Petersburg’s foundation and development. Here you may visit some principal museums like the Peter and Paul cathedral – the tallest building in the city centre and the burial place of the Russian Emperors, the Grand Ducan Mausoleum, and the Museum of history of Saint-Petersburg. Here you may also find some minor museums and temporary exhibitions like the Museum of miniature, Museum of Torture, etc. The fortress also used to be a political prison and you may see it during a visit to its casemates. It’s hard to imagine the trip to Saint-Petersburg without visiting one of the best known museums all over the world – the State Hermitage. Its priceless collection occupies 5 historical buildings of which the Winter Palace – the former residence of the Russian Royal family – is the most remarkable. Its rooms, decorated with marble and gold provide a fine background for the treasures of the Hermitage. You might be surprised to know that the collection of this unique museum contains over 3 million exhibits including the paintings of Leonardo da Vinci and Raphael and other famous artists. The collection of impressionists’ works of Degas, Cezanne, Renoir, Matisse and Van Gogh is the pride of the Hermitage, however the collections of the Egyptian, Oriental and Ancient Greek art should not be missed as well. Take your chance to see the world’s largest collection of the Scythian gold! The Hermitage attracts millions of people each year and we will do our best to make you one of them. Time for dinner. Bus and guide services 08:00 – 17:00. Overnight at a hotel.
    Day 6. Wednesday:
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of The Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood - this Church was built on the site where Tsar Alexander II was assassinated and was dedicated in his memory. Construction began in 1883 under Alexander III, as a memorial to his father, Alexander II. Work progressed slowly and was finally completed during the reign of Nicholas II in 1907. Funding was provided by the Imperial family with the support of many private investments. The Church is prominently situated along the Griboedov Canal. The embankment at that point runs along either side of a canal. Time for lunch. Boat cruise along the Neva River and channels - The Neva is a river in northwestern Russia. Despite its modest length (74 km), it is the third largest river in Europe in terms of average discharge (after the Volga and the Danube). The Neva is the only river flowing from Ladoga Lake. It flows through  Saint-Petersburg, three smaller towns of Shlisselburg, Kirovsk and Otradnoye, and dozens of settlements. The river is navigable throughout and is part of the Volga-Baltic Waterway and White Sea-Baltic Canal. It is a site of numerous major historical events, including the Battle of the Neva in 1240 which gave Alexander Nevsky name, the founding of Saint Petersburg in 1703, and the Siege of Leningrad by the German army during World War II.
